Making a Difference in Ashtabula County

Welcome to the homepage for David Marrison, the Agriculture & Natural Resource Educator for Ashtabula County.  OSU Extension has been working in Ashtabula County since 1917.  Our mission is to utilize researched based information to conduct educational activities for the agriculture community.

The diversity of agriculture in Ashtabula County is reflected in the educational programs as there are eight major Extension committees that provide direction for the Agricultural & Natural Resource Educator.  These agricultural committees are: Ashtabula County Dairy Service Unit; Extension Agronomy; Northeast Ohio Grape; Ashtabula County Cattleman’s Association; Ashtabula County Master Gardener Program/Horticulture; Milking Parlor; Ashtabula County Farmland Preservation Committee, Ashtabula County Pork Producers, and the Ashtabula County Agricultural Scholarship Committee.
