Ohio State University Extension has been helping agricultural producers across Ohio since 1917. Our mission is to utilize researched based information to conduct educational activities for the agriculture community. This Blog is dedicated to providing research-based information in agriculture & natural resources for northeast Ohio. This blog is maintained by David Marrison, Extension Educator for OSU Extension. David is located in Ashtabula County and helps to provide Agriculture & Natural Resources Education for the Western Reserve Extension Education & Research Area (EERA). This blog will povide timely updates in farm management (business planning and succession planning), small farmer education, and production agriculture (dairy, beef, and grapes) in the Western Reserve EERA.
