The Ashtabula County Educational Foundation was established in 1997 as an independent not-for-profit organization for the purpose of providing financial assistance to support youth development and educational needs to deserving children in our community. We grant funding through college scholarships and other programs that provide educational growth. The Foundation focuses on raising funds to grow our current endowment. Each year, they earmark a percentage of the interest earned from our investments to give back to the community. Annually, they have awarded $15,000 in scholarships, camperships, and other educational needs.
The Foundation is an independent nonprofit 501c3 Corporation started in 1997. Independent of the OSU Extension Ednowment, each year the Board raises money at the annual Golf Outing, and Pig Roast and Live Auction.
